About Puressence
Since opening in 2004, Puressence has continually evolved as new knowledge, treatments and approaches have shaped the way we think about skin and beauty.
What began as a traditional beauty salon has grown into a boutique studio that takes a more personalised approach to skin health and wellbeing. Over the years, the focus has shifted from simply treating concerns to helping clients better understand their skin and supporting its long-term health.
After 12 years at the Wheeler Heights shops, Puressence moved to its current purpose-built studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Away from the hustle and bustle, the space was designed to offer a quieter, more personal experience for clients.
Today, Puressence combines results-driven skin treatments, beauty services and honest advice in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It’s a place where clients can feel comfortable asking questions, supported in their skin journey and confident that their treatment plan is tailored to them.

When I first opened Puressence in 2004, my goal was simple, to create the kind of salon experience I would want myself. A place where people feel comfortable, cared for, and heard.
More than 20 years later, that still hasn’t changed.
One of the most special parts of my work has been the relationships I’ve built with my clients. I’ve been lucky enough to share in so many life moments over the years. Many of my clients have been with me for a long time now, and I’m even starting to treat their children, which I feel really grateful for.
Over time, I’ve realised I don’t really learn for the sake of it. If I find something that resonates with me, that’s when I dive all in. Something clicks, and once I see it that way, I can’t unsee it. When that happens, I naturally want to learn more so I can bring it into my work and share it with my clients in a way that feels practical and helpful for them.
At the heart of everything for me is wanting people to feel good in their skin and confident in how they care for it. I take the time to listen properly, understand what’s going on, and work with each person individually rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
At the end of the day, I just really love what I do. Whether you’re coming in for a skin treatment, beauty maintenance or a bit of time out for yourself, I hope Puressence feels like a place where you can relax, feel looked after, and leave feeling a little better than when you walked in.

After many years working in the skincare industry, I came across Prologic as my approach to skin began to evolve.
It’s a professional skincare range I trust because it keeps things simple and effective. Built around supporting the skin’s natural function, it avoids unnecessary complexity and focuses on what the skin actually needs. I use it because it works with the skin, not against it.

At Puressence, we understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. No-shows will be charged the full price of the appointment. This allows us to offer your spot to another client in need.
